Horseshoe Necklace (edition of three)
Made with antique steel-cut French beads my mother gave me, and imperfect freshwater rice pearls. Hypoallergenic 925 sterling silver clasp. Please note that the steel-cut beads are antique, so may show some discolouration.
Originating in England in the 1700s, cut steel was made by melting horseshoe nails and forming them into tiny faceted beads such as the ones in this necklace.
