I have always thought of beading as a medium bound to the rigid properties of straight lines, and have worked compositionally within these parameters. However, prompted by a recent commission for Bundanon Art Museum, I was inspiredto create my first work usinga more intuitive and organic compositional approach. These works are compositional studies that continue this experimentation, inspired by forms found in the ocean.
